Our history of continuous development
In 1978 Alfred Ewert founded EWERT-PHONO GMBH in Darmstadt. Our wholesale distribution started with loudspeaker boxes, pickup systems and consumer electronics. Step by step Alfred Ewert expanded his business and network on a national and international level.
In 1985 the first move followed - to Alsbach. In 1994, EWERT-PHONO GMBH moved to its current business and warehouse premises in Bensheim. Alfred Ewert kept expanding the product range, first with entertainment electronics products, later with gaming items.
In 2014, son Christian Ewert took over the company. He supplemented the product range with small household electrical appliances, electrical tools, electrical beauty and wellness equipment, home appliances and IT equipment.
On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, the Darmstadt Chamber of Industry and Commerce awarded EWERT-PHONO GMBH with an anniversary certificate.
